Androgyny has always existed in India where men used skirt as their traditional garment calling it as dhoti/lungi. However 2 legged garment came into play 200 years back, before that the only medium to cover the body was wrapping the cloth around, for both the genders. However the difference lied on how that cloth was wrapped. Where female wrapped it in a form of saree the men wrapped it in form of dhoti or lungi.

However men in those time never faced the issue to poor virilty even at the age of 40.
Referring to anatomy of men , a men has a penis and two testicles suspended in scrotum. The testicles need to be a 3.5 degrees cooler than the rest of the body to effectively produce viable sperm. Wearing restrictive clothing is bad for virility as the effect is opposite.

According to Scottish medical journal: “ There are anecdotal reports that men who wear kilts have better sperm quality and better fertility
